Kim Lendvay and I were up in York Region today [Saturday] and found a road
killed owl near the Queensville Sideroad and Hwy 48. Not much left of the
little creature, but based on the wing markings and the wingspan, I believe
it was a Boreal Owl. No head was apparent and the breast was totally
demolished, so it was hard to tell much more about it.
