Thanks to all for FAST replies. Judging by the Cornell pictures the bird
has House Finch Conjunctivitis.
It maybe blind but it can still fly. The snow is so deep here that
I have to wear snowshoes to get to the bird. It took off before I could
even get close. So I'll never know for sure.
