A handful of brave souls met in the freezing cold Sunday at 7.30 a.m. for a scheduled outing. Just over 40 species were seen on the trip, which was good for a very cold winter day, with keen winds by the St. Clair river. Highlights included; N. Shrike, (Waubanosh wetlands near Sarnia airport) Iceland and Glaucous Gulls, Bald eagle (2), Canvasback, Redhead, Bufflehead, Coot, Goldeneye, and 3 sp. Merganser,(all Sarnia to Sombra), Harrier, Roughleg, Sharpshin and hundreds of Snow Buntings and Horned Larks on cross-country return to London. Ann White London Ontario Canada [EMAIL PROTECTED]
