The North Leeds Birders found a Gray Morph Adult GYRFALCON on Wolfe I. about
2 km. west of Marysville, south of Hwy #96 across the road from Mill Point,
in a tree partially screened by trees closer to the road. I believe all 16
of those present were able to see it through binoculars and telescopes. The
bird flew off to the west after about 5 to 10 minutes of viewing. We were
unable to refind the GYRFALCON.

Other sightings highlights were 3 SNOWY OWLS, 1 GREAT HORNED OWL, both in
the vicinity of the junction of Hwy # 95 and Reeds Bay. About 200 TUNDRA
SWANS mostly by outer Button Bay and the channel south of The South Shore
Rd..
Also in the above area: 3 BALD EAGLES. One or more N. SHRIKES. 7 WILD
TURKEYS, 250 SNOW BUNTINGS, 100 HORNED LARKS and 1 LAPLAND LONGSPURS.
