I did not mention the config files as they are not needed if installed in this manner.
CGI
extensions are automatically associated with perl.exe if in the cgi-bin folder (if I
recall
correctly). I went through this process on a fresh box to verify it. I wonder if
reversing the
order of the installs (Apache first and *then* Perl) would cause an issue. Frankly,
I'm more used
to ISAPI and cgi with IIS :(
If anyone has any problem with getting scripts to run after following the instructions
listed, I
would love to hear about them.
