He says it's well-acted, well-written & has been renewed for a 2nd season. Worth subscribing to Apple TV Plus to see. see = https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Severance_(TV_series) Rani reviewed GalaxyCon & had fun. She found the panels to be very entertaining & says William Shatner is still sharp & working on projects at age 93. Valerie followed and was on 6 panels, found attendance to be so-so & theoretically much of the con will be put online & there should be a con there next year. Yochanan found the guests to be an eclectic lot & to be very friendly overall. He loved that the guests did selfies with everyone present & found the dealers room to be excellent - & plans to attend next year see = https://www.youtube.com/@GalaxyCon Cliff & Talia also went to GalaxyCon and both had fun - & saw various BASFA-folk there, plus thought the media guests were all quite nice & friendly Craig reviewed WorldCon in Glasgow last week & had a good time. He thought the night life was done well & he recommends going to WorldCons in general [Seattle is next year & Anaheim the year after]. There were other follow-ons & a general agreement that the Con was well-organized and well-run Rick reviewed travel to and from Glasgow as not recommended, especially when sick with a head cold Yochanan reviewed 'Legend of Destruction' as a very moving film with quite a lot of well-known actors doing commentary of an amazing film done mainly in the medium of oil paintings. see = https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4534598/ and Yochanan reviewed 'The Last Unicorn' by Peter S Beagle as he enjoyed reading it again and loves the author's use of language & imagery & Trey follow-on'd that the book is indeed a fabulous book and well-worth reading. Lisa agrees & commented that you get more out of the book on each new time you re-read it. The semi-sequel 'The Way Home' was also mentioned favorably and recommended. see = https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/29127.The_Last_Unicorn see also = https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/61080010-the-way-home and Yochanan reviewed the latest season of 'The Boys' as bloody & crazy & quite good. Craig followed, agreeing & finds it spooky with how well done it is and how it is such a good reflection of the current world see = https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1190634/?ref_%3Dttep_ep_tt/ Walter reviewed 'The Mercy of Gods' by James S.A. Corey see = https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/201930181-the-mercy-of-gods Cliff also reviewed the series 'Wednesday' & many voices commented positively and the rumor of the week was = 'still weird' we adjourned at = 8:56pm there were auctions -- ******************* She/whispered/'Oh/my/goodness/what/are/all/these/squirrels/doing/here?' melc...@gmail.com *******************
