Reviews:

Rick reviewed a series called 'Dark Matter' on Apple TV with a really good
cast, but involves another multiverse plot of family drama & a few episodes
too long in his opinion, but still worth full price
see = https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dark_Matter_(2024_TV_series)
and Rick reviewed 'Godzilla Minus One' as extremely effective &
very vivid. He was very impressed with the movie & he highly recommends
it; Ken agrees & has ordered the blue ray; Yochanan also enjoyed it a great
deal

Lisa reviewed 'Whisper of the Heart', a movie by Studio Ghibli as quite
good & interesting. It intersects with 'The Cat Returns' & is worth full
price, especially when seen on the big screen

Gayle reviewed WorldCon in Glasgow as the time zone change was quite
jarring and cost her sleep, but the con itself was pleasant. Gerry
commented that the 2025 Eurocon will be Archipelacon 2, 26th to 29th June
2025 in Mariehamn, Åland

Yochanan reviewed 'Twisters' as an interesting popcorn movie that was
entertaining. He says it's streaming now, worth matinee
and Yochanan reviewed 'Alien: Romulus' as he liked it a lot. They
did a nice job & he rates it up with the top 3 in the series - worth full
price
and Yochanan reviewed the 4th & final season of Netflix's 'The
Umbrella Academy' as he thought it had a nice conclusion. The acting was
excellent, highly recommended & quite worth seeing it from the beginning

and the rumor of the week was = 'the secretary prefers cool to the melting
point of lead'

we adjourned at = 8:27pm
