So far 30 episode of the first volume of the series of novels. It is exceptional. Not to be confused with the Netflix produced version. Shaping up to be very close to the novel. Amazon Prime, possibly youtube. The Acolyte: It hasn’t redeemed itself from being lackluster. The acting isn’t great, perfunctory writing, good cinematography, and a good villain. Didn’t stick the landing at the end. If you already have D+, go for it. Cliff and kids loved it. Would have liked the episodes to be longer. Lightsabre fights are the best in the series. A murder mystery in the high republic (100 years pre prequels). Kennita: The Boys (Prime) watched first episode. Interesting premise. Didn’t think much of the acting. Good enough that she’ll try a couple more episodes. Superheroes as bad guys. Saw a video segment of Frank Zappa teaching Steve Allen to play the bicycle. Cliff says it’s amazing! YouTube. Gerald: The Year Without Sunshine by Naomi Kritzer. Set in Minneapolis. Really enjoyed. Wonderful low key inspirational short story (or novella?) Yochanan: Fly Me to the Moon (in theatres) Rom-Com centered around the Apollo 11 moon landing. Fun movie. Really enjoyed it. Full Price. Gerald: Was being inducted into the Air Force when the moon landing happened. Finished all of the second season of Prodigy (20 episodes) Amazing! Loved the legacy characters, but not just fan servicing (or tacked on). It is part of Star Trek. Tied up at the end, but is still open. Netflix. Another Life (Netflix) Good actors, but doesn’t make any sense. Calls it the silly show. 2x10 episodes. 6% Rotten Tomatoes. A bunch of 20-somethings in space. 20 hours of his life he’s not getting back. Cliff: On YouTube. A full 20 minute animated short called Alien Monday. ‘80s animation style. Recommend for fans of Alien or ‘80s cartoons. Rumor of the Week: Kamala has been fitted for her cape, now she just needs a side-kick. Adjourned at: 21:09 Auction followed.
