Reviews:

Adrienne reviewed 'Firebrand', a movie about Henry VIII 6th wife Catherine
Parr, as it has lovely costumes & was entertaining. She says it takes the
actual Tudor history lightly, but is worth seeing
see = https://www.imdb.com/title/tt15000156/

Rick reviewed a Star Wars show, 'The Acolyte' as the acting & writing are
mediocre, the filming is spectacular & the plot is not completely
predictable. He rates it as worth your money if you subscribe to Disney
Plus
see = https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Acolyte_(TV_series)
        and he reviewed the current Dr Who season closer as 'it worked well
enough'. Ken opined that 'it was fun' and there was agreement about that &
worth seeing. Yochanan thought it was okay & not terrible

Kennita reviewed a movie called 'Sound of Hope - The Story of Possum Trot'
as inspirational & the acting was fantastic, worth full price
see = https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6881490/
         and she reviewed a movie called 'The Bikeriders' as not even worth
matinee. It was slow & boring & the characters were not interesting at all
& the movie fell flat

Yochanan reviewed the 20 episodes of the animated 'Star Trek: Prodigy'
season 1, rescued by Netflix & he found the stories to be 'SO good!' with
engaging characters & a great Star Trek show & highly recommended. Rick
followed & says it was a surprise & delight, all season long.
see = https://www.imdb.com/title/tt9795876/
         and Yochanan reviewed 'Doom Patrol' on Amazon Prime as very
different, with a lot of profanity. He liked it even though it rambles a
bit over its 40 episodes. He found it to be a good show & recommends it.
see = https://www.imdb.com/title/tt8416494/
         and Yochanan reviewed a Netflix show called 'Scavengers Reign', as
an animated show with 12 episodes. He really enjoyed it & is very glad he
watched it.
see = https://www.imdb.com/title/tt21056886/

Ken reviewed North Dakota as ... 'a state'. It's flat, very flat & they
were visiting an oil town, so not an electric car or charging station to be
seen. He described their hotel as a water park with a hotel built around
it. The wedding they were there for went off well & they had fun while
there.

and the rumor of the week was = 'Still the prettiest'

we adjourned at = 8:48pm

there were no auctions
