We make full backup for every day - Mo -> Fr. (Dell PowerVault Tape-Library) For each day we have a unique pool with a single set of cassettes respectively a weekend pool with several sets of cassettes - each cassette set covers the required volume of backup data. The weekend pool contains several sets of cassettes identified by different cassette labels - but only one set is in the changer - the bacula "list volumes" command shows which set has status "InChanger = 1". Exchanging a complete set is easily done by manually pulling the cassette magazine. -- Ralf Brinkmann ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.net email is sponsored by Make an app they can't live without Enter the BlackBerry Developer Challenge http://p.sf.net/sfu/RIM-dev2dev _______________________________________________ Bacula-users mailing list Bacula-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/bacula-users
