Putting all the vchanger volumes in the Scratch pool normally works out well. It allows volumes to be automatically moved into the needed pool as needed. This works great for a single virtual drive. However, if you want to use multiple virtual drives to run jobs concurrently, then you will have to manually move volumes from the Scratch pool into the needed pool. This is because if the first job moves a volume into the needed pool, then when the next job looks for a volume from the same pool, it will see that one already exists in the needed pool and will select it. Bacula only moves volumes from the Scratch pool if it cannot find an existing one in the needed pool. If there is an existing volume in the pool and it is already in use, then bacula SHOULD wait for it rather than moving in another volume from the Scratch pool. The failed second job you are seeing below is, I think, another problem. (See my other post to this thread.) So, I believe if you manually use the update volume command to move a few volumes into the correct pool before starting the jobs, then it should be able to utilize the second virtual drive. > What I'm trying to accomplish is the following: I created an LVM disk using > 2x500GB disks.
