Hi,

Since the amount of data on our servers increased lately, I am thinking about
upgrading our hardware. We currently run Qualstar RLS-4445 autochanger with a
single Sony SDX-700C (AIT-3) drive installed. Autochanger has 4 vacant drive
slots and according to manufacturer supports AIT-3, AIT-4 and AIT-5 drives. I
am thinking about AIT-5 as a second drive and would appreciate any comments
on this model. Looks like both AIT-4 and AIT-5 tapes are about the same price
and with the latter having twice the capacity it makes sense to go for AIT-5
unless there are some reliability issues of which I am not aware. How good is
the current bacula version with multiple drives? I read that multiple drive
handling was mostly broken before 2.x.x, is it up to production level now?

Thanks,
Ivan
