I want to use bacula to make backup of data spread all over the internet...
This works great when I can manage the two sides of the jobs (client and
server). But I encounter problems involving firewalls with some clients
(because it's normally the director's job to contact the fd, which is behind
a firewall).
I read few times ago that launching backup with the fd-client was on the
roadmap of bacula!
Is it already an available functionality?
Can I use it to make regular backup (automatic scheduled backup)?
Can I use to simply make one time backup?
What would be the restriction?
And overall is it bacula's job to do such thing?
