The directive name is "Prefer Mounted Volumes = = <yes|no>". In my case,
I want "no".

I tried this by adding it to the JobDefs for all Jobs defined that use
that Storage resource, and then re-started the Director. It's still not
showing the desired behavior though. Any number of jobs started
(manually, at this point) use the mounted volume; when other limits are
met (Maximum Concurrent Jobs for, say, a single Client), the status of
the additional jobs is "is waiting execution". Maybe I'm missing
something else?

Thanks again,

Josh
