Joshua, I am trying to do the same, with the same luck so far. It keeps using the already mounted volume for all the jobs, never using the second drive in the changer. Did you ever find a way to solve this?

The directive name is "Prefer Mounted Volumes = = <yes|no>". In my case, I want "no". I tried this by adding it to the JobDefs for all Jobs defined that use that Storage resource, and then re-started the Director. It's still not showing the desired behavior though. Any number of jobs started (manually, at this point) use the mounted volume; when other limits are met (Maximum Concurrent Jobs for, say, a single Client), the status of the additional jobs is "is waiting execution". Maybe I'm missing something else?
