This is good advice. It avoids the possibility of having an unreadable tape.
If you can repeat the exact conditions underwhich this happens, it would be
worth a bug report so I can duplicate it and hence fix it.
You already have in 1.37.
This was in your fixed list some time ago and was to do with counters
incrementing on restores when they shouldn't do so.
It was also occuring if a backup aborted for any reason. I'm fairly sure
you already fixed that one in 1.37 too (It's not fixed in 1.36)
