Linux does the same stupid thing, suddenly jumping to minor release numbers at 99 before a new major release. Noone has said you should go from minor versions 0 to 100 between each new major release, so why do people insist on doing it? Let's call it 2.14 (or 2.15 on account of the 2.14.1 incident) or 3.0 (if it doesn't seem like "minor release" is the correct term, the alternative is to call it a "major release"). Lars J
