Thanks a lot for your help. I have been sniffing around with the info
you supplied me together with a dummy user I created some time ago
"Leotest" and gave him some roles. Of course this Leotest has only
access to the English site and I will need to find how to grant him
access to the NL site. Do not worry, I will dig in the archives, one
day. ;-)

Sorry, I just realised I didn't answer this in my previous note. I
don't remember what are all the things that the Author role can do. I
think of the Author role as "everything except the things only a
Manager can do" -- such as assigning roles to other people.
I realise that's not much help. Probably there is a note from years
ago somewhere in my note logs (or in the archives) that says what each
role can do...
