Sorry Rawat this is one funny post if I am not rude. > I think JA music is an absolute failure on part of ARR.
I disagree altogether. It was actually an "absolute success" on part of ARR. > Result was disastrous. music sunk down without a trace in the movie. Unbelievable! ARR gave a music which was the intergral part of the movie. Being it Azeem-o-shaan, Khawaja or Man mohana, all of them fit so perfectly with the flow of the movie, and same is true for the rest two. > Azeemoshaan Shanshaah is the only "public" song, and I found it irritatingly loud. Moulded lyrics worsened it. What a joke, Azeem-o-shaan Shahanshah is loud? no way, the song was one perfect example of how expert ARR is when it comes to grandeur songs and the organization of the instruments. It was defintely the best song of the album and one that I have seen personally being loved by people of all ages, kids to olds. I used to play it all the time with full volume while driving car with my family, as we all loved it absolutely especially the huge drums (or beats whatever) it starts with. And so I see it being used in background in many reality-TV shows and awards functions these days (recent examples are IIFA and SRGMP). It is a masterpiece song in all respects. > just because the songs were on a different concept as if ARR was composing for a soft love story between Jodha and Akbar, but the music movie was Princess and Queen Jodha and Azeemoshaan Shanshaah Akbar from beginning to end. I think JA was as much a love story (or may be more) as it was a grandeur. And one grandeur song to the scale of Azeem-o-shaan was more than enough for such a movie. > Though I don't blame ARR for Manmohana fiasco. The song was so long and too much noticeable, but that also I think is because AG must have kept on emphasing to ARR about showing hindu Jodha doing prayers in Muslim Akbar's palace, so ARR gave it a lot of importance and created such a loooonnnnggg non-subtle song that pinches in ears. Now that really hurts, because "Man mohana" was a classic, a masterpiece work completely and miserably ignored by many for un- understandable reasons. It is my most favorite among the album and soon will become my most listened ARR song. Actually I loved it so much that I created its ring-tone and set to my mobile phone since that time. The song is favorite of many of my friends and was actually equally loved by my younger brothers and sisters even though they did not understand single word of pure Hindi. And what you said? "song that pinches in ears", this is the most "unbelievable" comment I have ever heard about an ARR song. It is one truely sweet song with perfectly soulful vocals by Bela and the vocals and the rythm catch you instantly as soon as the song starts. It is an absolute classic. The only thing I complain is the pure Hindi lyrics (because I cannot understand it). Actually many times I really wished what a blessing it would have been if ARR gave two versions one with complete Urdu lyrics. > And ARR lost by not giving a "pyar kiya to darna kya" level of song in it. This I agree to "some" extent. There should have been a soft song (otherwise Azeem-o-shaan has done it) which would be remembered for ages to come like "pyar kiya to darna kya". - Jahanzeb --- In [email protected], V S Rawat <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > On 7/18/2008 8:35 PM India Time, _Gomzy_ wrote: > > > hehe Rawat, you will be disappointed to know that he is indeed the > > composer.
