Rawat,
there will be very few who may say AG-ARR is better than Mani-ARR.
But, AG-ARR combo is quite brilliant..
The way songs fitted into Swades was awesome..
instead of a song just popping up in the movie, AG does a good job in
blending it in.
Eg: Saawariyaan - beautiful picturisation.
Yeh Taara Woh Taara - again beautifully blended in.
Radha Kaise na Jalen - perfect fit.
Mitwa - yet another classic case of picturising for a 'musical' which
is what all Indian movies attempt to be.
In Lamhom ke - amazing way to present 'lust' between lovers..
JA may not be the best out of the 3 AG-ARR combos, but that no way can make
someone say AG should not work with ARR !!!!!
I need AG-ARR.. Rahman needs AG !!
Peace.
