Isn't this a media created picture of Aamir / SRK interfering in the
process and Hrithik / Ash not being so? For all you know the "B" gang
could have changed the entire movie on its head. :)

Again, the movie was meant to be a love story so the songs gel , in my opinion.

That's my opinion. I am entitled to have mine and you to yours. I have
the highest regard for Gulzar but I honestly feel JA has mastered the
art of writing good lyrics for cinema. BTW Gulzar - Pancham is one of
all time favourite duo
