Hi Ralf, Alan and Srajan, in fact there is a difference between the sound whether the headphone or the loudspeakers are connected to the computer. With the loudspeakers, I do not need to imagine that there is music on the test file as it is generally louder. Nevertheless, the background noise is too high and the music itself is distorted/overdriven - maybe no surprise when the wrong sliders amplify some signal that takes some other paths through this soundcard.
