This was just released today hot off the presses. I compiled and installed this with ONLY soundcard support, and WITHOUT ALSA. I then d/ld the recently released alsa-driver-1.0.2c and did ./configure --with-cards=au8820 --with-sequencer=yes;make;make install and followed this with ./configure;make;make install for the alsa-utils-1.0.2/ and finally, i just ran 'alsaconf' and the card was automatically set up and the modprobing added to my config files.
