I don't know that much about your system, but there should be a way to
reserve the IRQ 12 through a BIOS setting.

During boot up, go into BIOS maintenance and find the way to reserve
IRQ 12.  Then the BIOS will not automatically use IRQ 12.

My BIOS does not offer modification of IRQ 12. Only IRQs below 11 and above 14 inclusive can be modified (removed from PnP).
