I have a few queries:
1) Can you confirm that libALSA.so 1.2.8 is indeed broken with ice1724 cards
and it isn't a problem with ALSA?
2) Why doesn't your default .asoundrc work with XMMS and artsd? In other
words, with the following added to your .asoundrc it shouldn't be necessary
to define "plug:spdif" as "default" should work, or have I missed something?
pcm.!default {
type plug
slave.pcm "spdif"
}
3) Why doesn't OSS emulation work?
