Back still back to square one. I still get the message fm801 module not found. I did the compile with --with-cards=fb801 as per doc on alsa site. everything went fine there was no errors or warnings but when I try modprobe with the specified module it tells me module not found. I'm using Red Hat 8.0 with Alsa drivers/lib/utils 0.9.0rc5. Is this a bug with 0.9.0rc5 ? or redhat ? or am I missing the boat ? ---------------- Cheers.
