Sorry for taking so long change of jobs etc.
Ok I recompiled with --with-card=fm801.
Everything went fine until once again modprobe.
Now I the reply that the modprobe command is not found.
Why now ? is there a package that I need to install ?

If modprobe is not found then I think you have a really messed up system. Do a web search for modprobe on your distribution. I'm out of ideas.
