me too .. can't find _any_ files on the ftp-server and the cvs-server
doesn't give any reply to my login-attempts ..

OTOH it's quite a nuisance that I shouldn't be able to give
./configure --disable-musicbrainz 
for freeamp, since I don't even want to do any CD-Name lookups .. but
apparently this is not possible ...

gonna write some email to the freeamp-ppl about this, I guess.
