Yes I have added these in. I assume it will spit something out in
/proc/asound. In /proc/asound/card0 I see;
dr-xr-xr-x    4 root     root            0 Apr  9 22:02 .
dr-xr-xr-x    5 root     root            0 Apr  9 21:20 ..
-rw-r--r--    1 root     root            0 Apr  9 22:07 ac97#0
-rw-r--r--    1 root     root            0 Apr  9 22:07 ac97#0regs
-r--------    1 root     root         4096 Apr  9 22:07 CS46xx_BA0
-r--------    1 root     root        12288 Apr  9 22:07 CS46xx_BA1_data0
-r--------    1 root     root        14336 Apr  9 22:07 CS46xx_BA1_data1
-r--------    1 root     root        28672 Apr  9 22:07 CS46xx_BA1_pmem
-r--------    1 root     root          256 Apr  9 22:07 CS46xx_BA1_reg
-r--r--r--    1 root     root            0 Apr  9 22:07 id
-r--r--r--    1 root     root            0 Apr  9 22:07 midi0
dr-xr-xr-x    3 root     root            0 Apr  9 22:07 pcm0c
dr-xr-xr-x    3 root     root            0 Apr  9 22:07 pcm0p

The filenames match your pre-processor directives in the patch, but if I
cat them out nothing is sent to std out. Are these files the output you
were after ? If so how can I send it to you ?

regards
Darryl
