As default ALSA cs46xx doesn't support OSS mmap (I forgot why..) and some games require mmap inevitablly. You can try to enable it by defining SND_CONFIG_CS46XX_ACCEPT_VALID (around line 51 of pci/cs46xx/cs46xx_lib.c).
