This is strange, I'm not familiar with konsole since I don't use KDE,
but I use enlightenment with transparent eterm, maybe there is something to do
with the window manager. What exactly does this frambuffer thing do in konsole?

I upgraded to 2.4.19-pre3 last night and still the same problem. I wonder if
I should try to downgrade to 2.4.17 since most people that claim to have
this problem are running 2.4.18.
