Hi,

I upgraded from Mandrake kernel-2.4-13-7mdk to kernel-2.4.13-12mdk.
When I recompiled alsa0.9.0beta9, I get the following error.

checking for current directory... /usr/local/src/alsa-driver-0.9.0beta9
checking for directory with kernel source... /usr/src/linux-2.4.13
checking for kernel version... expr: syntax error
expr: syntax error
expr: syntax error
failed (probably missing /usr/src/linux-2.4.13/include/linux/version.h)

No problems compiling with the old kernel. The new kernel source and
header rpms are installed and the path to version.h is correct.

Any ideas on this?

Bill
