I'm using 0.9.0beta8 (because I have a Turtle Beach Santa Cruz -- CS4630 -- card). I installed the ALSA stuff because I wanted to use the JAZZ+ sequencer.
I get the following error messages when I start Jazz: ioctl: Inappropriate ioctl for device ioctl: Inappropriate ioctl for device subscribe: Inappropriate ioctl for device And, of course, Jazz doesn't work properly. Anyone have any idea what might be causing this? PS: playmidi returns this error message ...
