The current rules actually favour the player who Outshines the Sun, who
can keep approximately half eir Pyrite by converting it to Spendies
before Outshining the Sun and converting it back to Pyrite afterwards.

As such, I think the proper fix here is to just halve Pyrite totals
(for everyone) rather than zeroing or capping them – that way, players
don't have to worry about doing things like pre-emptively converting
Pyrire to Spendies in case there's an Outshining win.

(Some history: we originally introduced the "Outshining zeroes Pyrite"
beacuse people had figured out a way to get exponential gains from
farming, which tended to be converted into Outshining wins. But farming
has been nerfed somewhat since, so that tends not to happen so much any
more, and so the original reasoning for zeroing the Pyrite probably no
longer matters. It's also more plausible for players to Outshine
without using Pyrite to do so, nowadays.)
