In fact, they all did, *because* of this disclaimer (CFJ 2069). Basically, of the examples below, #1 is broad enough to cut the legs out from whatever it's attached to; contrast #2. (I think #3 works the same way as #2 - it implies "I think it succeeds" - but I'm less certain.) 1) Disclaimer: This may fail. 2) Disclaimer: This may fail if <specific thing>. 3) Disclaimer: This may fail for some reason I haven't thought of.
