It is binding on their Agoran properties if any (if they don't have any, Agora isn't really concerned). Hence equity. We really need to add to equity "The judge for a case CAN (after appeal period, announcements of intent, safeguards, yadda) deputize for a person for the sole purposes of carrying out actions required of that person by the settlement." It would still "punish" by recovering nomic properties (currencies, etc.) that the non-player presumably doesn't care about, but it would be an equitable solution to the players. -Goethe
