For the contest, I would not.  Enigma could function identically: post 
messages awarding "points", track those points, etc. even if it wasn't 
a contest.  Whether Agora chooses to recognize those points is a part of 
Agoran rules, not an intrinsic property of the contract (though it is
a property of players' motivations in joining).

Contest-ness is tracked by Agorans within Agoran records, and is not
"part of" the contract.  Is the fact that you are supine, leaning, 
standing, etc. an intrinsic part of yourself?  Or is it an external 
label applied by Agoran rules?

Partnerships I'm not so sure of, I'd tend towards the same line of
thought, but "personhood" is something intrinsic so the relationship
may be a bit more intimate.
