I personally think that things were pretty noisy during cards. I think that it was partnerships, not VCs, that really picked up the pace in the last year (VCs were slightly before partnerships so they took some time to get going... but I think partnerships were "noisier"). Both cards and partnerships were "something new"... I don't think VCs are all that interesting, when it comes right down to it- I'm trying to ignore them as much as I can (which is a fair amount, actually). -Goethe
