3 years? I’d say there is high probability the military has had AGI for decades and possibly even ASI running in some deep underground base. The problem is we are spoon fed lies and have to learn the truth by piecing together scraps of information. Most people are blue-pilled. Outsiders are ostracized and explicitly suppressed. AI isn’t the problem it’s the relationship between technology and money with morality. Example, a few years ago “Uhduh, AI is going to help us find a cure for cancer.” Whatever, there have been known cheap cures for decades, now becoming widely known and peer reviewed yet still suppressed. Why would a trillion dollar treatment industry want a cure? Follow the whole vaccine thing, now in congress, many of the 70 plus shots on the childhood schedule are causing incalculable suffering and were not even safety tested. They knew. Look at fluoride, and EMF, oh ya we tested EMF there’s no issue with your DNA. The fear is, and fear is good, AI is going to enable more of the same in ways even the red-pilled cannot comprehend. “Fear mongering” is a phrase like “conspiracy theory”, a psycholinguistic tool for memetic hegemony. The best shot at alignment IMO is through the money system while it is in flux since morality ain’t gonna happen. But I agree though AI is going to have to fight AI. ------------------------------------------ Artificial General Intelligence List: AGI Permalink: https://agi.topicbox.com/groups/agi/Te0af3a0c35a03987-M9896d1f61ae6796b1708b7d1 Delivery options: https://agi.topicbox.com/groups/agi/subscription
