Fiat money creation is where many of the > issues are. > Not really. Fiat currency and crypto are both created by issuing something that has no intrinsic value by itself but can't be copied. People buy it in the belief that others will value it in the future. People are betting that the world won't suddenly stop accepting dollars or bitcoins because everyone else stops accepting them. Both are possibilities because zero sum markets have inherent instabilities that make them unpredictable. It happened to Zimbabwe dollars and to thousands of crypto ICOs. The problem you should be concerned about is that as long as anything has value, AI will be better at acquiring it than you. ------------------------------------------ Artificial General Intelligence List: AGI Permalink: https://agi.topicbox.com/groups/agi/Te0af3a0c35a03987-M4754f280b604b0e8ac331d3c Delivery options: https://agi.topicbox.com/groups/agi/subscription
