The body is mostly water but if you sweat out the nanoantennas to the skin as EMF receivers they could still communicate molecularly. One may expect then to find protocol translating nano-tranceivers. So if you apply a signal then you would see chemical emissions. Maybe that's what those filaments shedding bubbles were..
