Id get myself kicked off 100% of the electronics forums on the internet if I 
said the next thing I want to do is amplify with only resistors and 
capacitors....  But since this is an AGI space I think ppl get away with more 
zanier ideas.

Your right about the leaky capacitors, its one of the techniques of the 
circuit, they are constantly discharging when they arent charging, or they 
couldnt keep sparkng.

Sure, ill give you the circuit,  but its really unstable, and youll probably 
need to play around with it to get it to work. Im still working out how to get 
it to oscillate properly,  it seems to have a few different states it sits in,  
and you have to warm it up with the battery before it sits.  But the basic idea 
works,  if you put a pack of caps together with discharge and resistance 
weighting, theyll go off like a broken set of christmas lights, and its just a 
matter of honing the idea.
