I'd say big companies good at negotiating will stay. Big companies with a spine 
will leave. 


Medium companies don't have the resources to move or the scale to negotiate. 


Small companies will move because they don't have the resources to stay.

It's been heavily in the tech news this last few months - Broadcom are quite 
eager to have you buy a subscription service for 500-1000% of the original 
pricing. They need someone to help them pay off the huge cost of the 
acquisition... 


The big companies will likely grin and bear it (except for AT&T), the small 
ones are mostly doing the effort to transition to those and other open source 
VM systems.
