it's no different than when the said a president showed up and did nothing
but hit people with paper towels. the biggest issue here is its the people
impacted that are saying the government's dropping the ball, not just the
media.

I think a lot depends on the region. in the fire chiefs defense, he may
have been on victim recovery calls for midair collisions in the past,
that's a messy business, and some help doesn't justify some risks in the
eyes of the chief
