But I don’t believe it. Of course now it was “authorized”. It is the mentality of those with “authority”. He was not “approved” to to do the rescue. He did not break any law, there were no temporary flight restrictions. He did not create a hazard. He had permission of the guy to come back and land there to pick him up. He just did something that was not under the control of the “authorities”. They know better of course. They threatened him with arrest. So, I find it super easy to believe that the “authorities” would impound a truck of anything heading into the area they claim to be controlling and managing.
