One thing I learned is as important as the splicer is the cleaver.  If you have 
a good cleave, it will normally splice perfectly.  The INNO cleaver is pretty 
good, but you have to rotate the cutter wheel on a regular basis.  It also has 
an automatic trash bin feature that keeps the little ends away from poking you. 
 Glass splinters are hard to get out of your fingers and sometimes you have to 
just wait until your body expels them.  It is a long and painful wait.
