Every time I see someone pointing to molten salt reactors, I dig up all the articles of _every_single_one_ of every article test reactor of molten salt failing.   5 tries 5 failures, two partial melt downs...  three sites requiring major remediation...

We could turn Yellowstone park into a massive geothermal facility
that could power the whole country, but maybe we'd rather have a
park.  Tough call (in all seriousness).  Allegedly extracting
energy from the volcano could reduce the risk of eruption too.

Nuclear fission gets a lot of bad press for no good reason.  We'd
rather burn coal and gas and release the radioactive isotypes from
    those fuels I guess.

Some folks call them a visual blight. Personally I like watching
them.  They are relaxing to watch.
But if we want clean power, nuclear, hydro and geothermal are
still the only games in town.  Even solar panels have a toxic
waste stream and a less than zero carbon foot print.

Maybe the windmill blades should be vellum on a bamboo frame, and
the pole should be a wooden pylon buried in the dirt.

He was right about the birds. Doesn’t kill all of them but it is

The anti windmill crowd says the amount of CO2 released by the

will never balance out in the amount of CO2 it saves from the
    atmosphere.
Could be true.    His problem is that he hears fragments of
factoids and delivers them in a way that it sounds like he is
making crap up on the fly.
OK, sorry for breaking lent... we have been all pretty well
    behaved.

"I know more about wind than you do," Mr Trump replied, before
going on to say windmills are extremely expensive, “kill all the
birds” and “the fumes coming up, if you’re a believer in carbon
emission … for these massive windmills is more than anything
we’re talking about with natural gas which is very clean”.
    Enough said.

Shes the best moderator I've seen in my time watching

So after the fact I'm looking for punditry, switching

        what I expect from each.
Where would I go if I want to watch some serious discussion?
Also I dont care who you are, joe is right on daca, and I
wish nancy and chuck hadn't brick walled trump on the same
thing. It's time we stop using daca humans and capital.
