I have 3x hEX S routers wired up to -48 now, though I have done so carefully
and only utilize one copper connection out of the device to minimize the chance
of anything screwing up due to misusing the product.

Also, this power supply will accept + or - 48v.

This should work in any of the recent dual power supply CCRs or CSRs. I would
e-mail Mikrotik sales to confirm if it'll work with any particular model.

I'm replacing my hEX S routers with CCR2004s so that I don't have to worry
about that sort of thing anymore, and to have dual power.

Lol nice.

I'm not sure about the -48v part, but Mike says it's doable so I'd safely
expect he is right.

Forums say you should be good as well.

Will it handle –48?

If that's the case, get a Tik and crack open the case. Simply wire 48v right up
- solder and heat shrink would be simple.

I don't think the MT or Ubnt are 48v out of the box.

With the MT people have regularly popped open the case and then just done 48v
bypassing the AC->48VDC PSU.

I think that may be what one of my guys ordered. He was trying to decide

Why not MikroTik CRS rack mount with SFP or SFP+ ports?
