I put a Coleman Mach 1 RV AC on the roof.
Make sure you have a carbon monoxide detector inside.
I think you will find that you will eventually want a generator.

Doing 12vdc in ours.
We use propane for heat and haven't really figured out the air conditioning.
The whole side opens up like a food truck, though. Ohio treats us OK.
