I have COPD, Normally by now this time of year i start back on symbicort, its what keeps me breathing as the humidity comes up. I take it until the muscle cramps get unbearable. They say that being on a steroid is really bad for the kungflu, so im withholding the treatment. Im going to end up dangling in my harness from a tower without it because i got winded and cant catch my breath. that puts a rescuer in peril. They say we are all going to get it at some point, so as long as the regions healthcare system has capacity, let us earn money until we get the bug, we either live or we die. this dragging out the inevitable is dangerous. If I go out on a tower and a rescuer gets killed trying to get me down, It technically is a COVID related death, because if it werent for all these numbers games I would have probably already had it and either been dead or back to work on my med and not fell out on a tower. Rescuer wouldnt have needed to be there, and he (or she) would get to eat dinner with their family. (cure=worse than disease). They need to pick a narrative and stick to it, theyre saving lives, theyre flattening curves, theyre trying to limit overwhelming healthcare, we are all going to get it, second wave is coming. I dont care which narrative they go with, just pick one, stick with it, and quit manipulating numbers, I have shit to do.
